It has been a pleasure working on this album with this talented vocalist. John has taken each song and made it his own with his unique styling. He is also a wonderful song writer. Two of his original songs (At the End of the Trail and A Sacrifice to You) are included in this recording and John sings the harmony parts on several songs himself. I want to take this moment to thank all the Crystal Valley Quartet fans out there. I would like you all to know that I have no plans of leaving the quartet, or of beginning a solo ministry. This recording is simply in response to several of your requests for more solo lines form me, so here they are! I also wish to thank my family for their unwavering support and love, without which I could not do what I do. I wish to thank the “boys” of the CVQ for making me work harder, and sing better, you guys are the best! And lastly I would be remiss if I didn’t recognize and honor the source of my talent and the reason I sing, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, From Him and through Him and to Him are all things.
